Bruce lives in a really nice 9th
floor apartment in "Zona 14" of Guatemala City. From his apartment you
can see three volcanoes. The weather was wonderful, no wonder they call
Guatemala the land of eternal spring. Guatemala City is the capital of
the country and as such has a lot of the looks of any other major city
in the world.
That first night we had dinner at Hacienda Real in "zona viva." There we had dinner with a two of Bruce’s friends Chris and Stephan. We had a wonderful parrillada (lot of "carne").
Afterwards we went to Bruce’s hangout
in Guatemala City. The Burger Warehouse. There we met Mynor, a real nice
guy from Guatemala City.
